Chambers Stamp-pad? Curiosity ?

just curious and should have posted it here when I saw it on eBay recently (like last week) there was a chambers stamper, like you ink with a stamp-pad?

It sold for $9.99

Wondering if anybody bought it or has one and and what it's used for. I really wanted it when I saw it (don't know why) and then promptly forgot about it.

I saw that. I think it wasn't a stamp pad so much as a printing block-- like they would have inserted into an old printing press for a newspaper ad, etc.

I thought it was cool but couldn't figure out what on earth I would do with it. Chalked the urge to buy it up to my Chamberslust and let it go.
